Ursuline Kairson was born
in Chicago (Illinois), she started to sing in her parish church and
in the surrounding church halls, and then she appeared in numerous TV
shows and stages, to finally decide to settle in New-York.
From that time on, many producers called her on to play important parts
in “Two Gentlemen Of Verona” for the New-York Shakespeare
Festival, and then in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Purlie”,
“Showboat” with Mickey Rooney in Philadelphia, “Mass”
with Leonard Bernstein at the Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts
in Washington D.C., “American Heroes” in London and New-York.
After the great succes achieved in Broadway in “Bubbling Brown
Sugar” with Cab Calloway, Ursuline Kairson aarived in Europe with
this same musical comedy she played in Paris, London, Hamburg…
She wasalso the star in a show at the Sporting Club of Monte Carlo.
Since a few years Ursuline Kairson has been the star of the spectacles
“Revues Champagne” and “Hello Paradise”, in
“Viva Paris” for the Paradis Latin of Paris. She has een
appearing in many TV shows with Michel Drucker, Jacques Martin…
